Is this Discord link a scam?

Got a link in your DMs promising free Nitro, a Steam gift or “you were accidentally reported”? Paste it here before you click. We check it against the same scam-domain list ESN Guardian uses to delete phishing links in Discord servers, plus look-alike checks for fake Discord and Steam sites. We never open the link.
How the check works
- Known scam domains. Guardian's list is built from two public community blocklists (nikolaischunk/discord-phishing-links and Discord-AntiScam/scam-links), with popular legitimate sites removed. A match means the domain has been reported for phishing, fake Nitro or token grabbing.
- IP loggers. Links like grabify or iplogger record your IP address when you open them.
- Look-alikes. Misspellings such as dlscord, disc0rd or steamcommunlty, and domains mixing “discord” or “steam” with “nitro”, “gift” or “free”.
- Official sites. discord.com, discord.gg, discordapp.com, steamcommunity.com and a few others are recognised as genuine.
A link that is not on our list is not proof it is safe. New scam sites appear every day. If someone you don't know sends a “free Nitro” or “verify your account” link, don't log in through it.
Signs a Discord link is a scam
- Free Nitro, Steam gift cards or “claim your reward” from someone you barely know, often a hacked friend.
- “I accidentally reported you, contact this admin” or “verify your account or you will be banned”. Discord staff do not DM you like this.
- A QR code to “verify”. Scanning it with the Discord app can log the scammer in as you.
- A login page on any domain that isn't discord.com.
If you already clicked and logged in: change your password, turn on 2FA, and check Settings → Devices and Authorized Apps. Then warn the server it was sent in.
Stop these links before your members see them. ESN Guardian deletes known scam links, fake Nitro and IP loggers automatically.

Is this checker free?
Yes. It compares the link's domain with ESN Guardian's scam-domain list. It never opens or visits the link, and links are not stored.
Where does the scam list come from?
From two public community blocklists of Discord phishing domains, cleaned of popular legitimate sites, plus Guardian's own IP-logger and look-alike checks.
The link isn't on the list. Is it safe?
Not necessarily. New scam domains appear constantly. Treat unexpected free Nitro, gift or verify links as suspicious and never log in through them.
