Beemo alternative

A Beemo alternative that also stops nukes

By ESN Systems, makers of ESN Guardian. Updated November 2, 2026.

Beemo is a well-known, free anti-raid bot: you invite it and it quietly bans userbot raids in the background. If join raids are your only worry, it does that job with zero setup. People look for a Beemo alternative when they also want protection from inside the server (a hacked mod or bot deleting everything), a way to undo damage, or verification and automod in the same bot. Here is an honest side by side, with sources.

Every protection included on every server. Set up in about five minutes.

What Beemo does well

Beemo's own site describes it as an antiraid bot whose detection algorithms “automatically and effectively mitigate raids by swiftly banning suspected raiders while avoiding real users”, and says antiraid is “free, forever” with “no additional setup required”. Its docs say the only setup is giving it Ban Members, moving its role above regular members and optionally setting a log channel with /antispam log set. That simplicity is the point: there is nothing to misconfigure.

The trade-off is in the same docs: “The algorithm is not configurable because it is designed to work dynamically.” And Beemo's pages describe one kind of attack, raids by automated accounts joining. Moderation commands, message archives and XP are part of Beemo Max, a paid plan per server.

Guardian side of every table: every protection is included on every server. Guardian Premium ($1.99/month or $19.90/year) only changes the bot's name, avatar, banner and bio in your server.

Can you run both?

Yes. Beemo only bans suspected raid accounts as they join, so it overlaps with Guardian's raid shield but not with anti-nuke, backups or verification. Some servers keep Beemo for join raids and add Guardian for everything else. If both act on the same join wave you will just see two log entries for the same ban.

Trying Guardian without risk

  1. Add Guardian and drag the ESN GUARDIAN role near the top of your role list. It can only act on roles and members below it.
  2. Run /guardian setup and pick a preset, or answer four quick questions. Guardian makes a log channel and checks its own permissions.
  3. Trust your admins with /antinuke trust and take a first snapshot with /snapshot take so /rewind has something to restore from.
  4. Run both bots side by side for a few days and compare the logs. Then keep the one you prefer and remove the other bot and its role, so it no longer holds permissions.

When Beemo alone is enough

A small server with trusted staff, 2FA required for moderators, few bots and no history of nukes may only need raid protection. In that case Beemo's free, zero-setup antiraid is a perfectly good choice. Take the 2-minute security check to see where your real gaps are first.

Questions

Is Beemo free?

Beemo's antiraid is listed as free forever. Moderation, message archives and XP are part of Beemo Max, listed at $4.99/month or $53.89/year per server.

Does Beemo stop nukes?

Beemo's pages describe stopping userbot raids, meaning automated accounts joining. We could not find anti-nuke limits on staff or bot actions on its public pages. Guardian's anti-nuke covers mass deletes, bans, kicks, webhooks and bot adds.

Can Guardian replace Beemo?

For raid protection, yes: Guardian's raid shield learns your normal join rate and quarantines join waves. You can also keep both bots, since Beemo only acts on joins.
